Annual Events
Independence Day Celebration - July 3-4
- Fireworks are presented on the evening of the 3rd, at dusk, and are set off from the field at
Ada Drive and Fulton, across from Amway's east end parking lot
- On the morning of the 4th, join us at Station One from 7 am to 9 am for an all you can eat
Pancake and Sausage Breakfast. Orange Juice and Coffee are also provided. Cost is $5.
- Following the Breakfast, we are proud to participate in the annual township 4th of July
Parade. The Parade lines up at Ada Dr and Fulton (by 9:30) and kicks off at 10 am.
August in Ada Kids Fair - 1st Friday in August
The Ada Business Association hosts the annual Kid's Fair, with rides, crafts, and other activities for the kids. The fair takes place from 10 am to 3 pm in the lot of Alticor's Performance Excellence Center across Fulton from their main lobby building.
Halloween - October 31
Halloween at the Fire House. We have candy for the kids, as well as refreshments such as donuts. Some of our apparatus will be
on display as well. Come in costume and visit our Firehouse. This is at Station 1 on the evening of Halloween.

Santa Parade - 1st Saturday in December
We have trucks in the annual township Christmas Parade, as well as assist with traffic control, and the parade winds up with Santa riding through town to our Firehouse (Station 1) where the kids can meet him and tell him their wishes.
Station 1 serves as a drop off point for Toys for Tots every year during the Christmas Season. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off during normal business hours. (Click the logo to visit their website.)
Ada/Cascade Clean-Up Day
Each Spring and Fall, Ada and Cascade Townships team up to provide their residents the opportunity to clean up their yards, garages, etc, by providing a massive array of Garbage Trucks and Dumpsters at the Ada Township Road Comission location on Fase Street where anything from yard waste to old mattresses to busted TV's to . . . can be discarded without fee. (Please note, hazardous materials including batteries, antifreeze, motor oil, etc, cannot be accepted at these drop off points. Please take these items to the appropriate recycling or disposal facility.) For information about restricted items, dates, etc, you can contact either Township Fire Departement or either Township Office.
